Royal Mail Greenford

Royal Mail Greenford was a recently completed works package designed to provide a significant upgrade of the existing mechanical and electrical services at this process and distribution facility. The works undertaken was to replace all external lighting, electrical distribution Boards, heating and chilled water pumps including local pipework modifications. Full water treatment and flushing process inclusive of all existing pipework. New 4-pipe fan coil units within all offices and welfare areas. Refurbishment of all existing air handling units (10no total) which included new inverter driven fans, heating/cooling coils, integral controls and filtration systems. A site wide replacement of the full BMS system plus all fire alarm devices were replaced simultaneously. New high-level gas fired radiant heaters, motorised ventilation diffusers and gas fired domestic hot water cylinders were also replaced. All works were undertaken successfully over 9 months in a live facility.
