Solace was appointed to address leaks in a high-end residential building in London. The client required us to freeze the pipework on an existing system to allow for the removal of valves without draining the entire water system. This involved freezing 4 x 15mm, 2 x 22mm, and 1 x 54mm copper pipes within a chilled water system. We ensured precise freezing to allow the client to carry out the necessary work.

The project takes place in a confined space, as the building is nearing handover, so minimal disruption is essential. By freezing the pipes, the client avoids draining the system, saving them the time and effort of refilling, venting, and chemically treating the water – a significant advantage in keeping the project on track.
