Queen Elizabeth Hospital – Ward 3

Full M&E Refurbishment Project

This contract consisted of a 10-bed expansion of an existing ward within the hospital. The installation included new LV distribution and small power compliant with HT12 regulations, access control, BMS, fire alarm, a new AHU with primary and secondary ductwork supplies, radiant panel heating, installation of new sanitaryware, and specialist equipment such as medical grade bedhead trunking, medical gasses, and nurse call systems.

Despite the challenges of working in a live hospital environment, all the work was completed to a high standard. Organising shutdowns and out-of-hours work in coordination with the hospital and FM team was essential for the successful completion of the project. All parties are satisfied with the end product, which is now being used immediately.
